Woke up super early this morning at like 7:30AM to go to the market. I went with two of my roommates. It took us like 45 minutes to walk to the market. It was well worth the walk! The deals were so good and there were so many interesting things. We saw little pets for sale, clothes, food, household stuff, jewelry and lots more! I found a coat for 20 euros! I also got a pair of gloves and a couple of shirts. It was so much fun. Then we walked all the way back home and then we had to go to Italian class. After class I bought all my painting supplies which was fun. Can't wait to start painting! Made pasta yet again for dinner and played cards with the roomies. So glad it has only been about a week in Florence because I don't want it to go by fast. I love it here!
7:30 am is early??? The Rachel I know would not even blink at a 4am wake up call to shop for a bargain ;) Sounds like you're having a blast!! Keep us updated. I am living vicariously through you for the next 4 months :)
